Platformele PowerEdge FC830, M830, M830p se lanseaza cu noi procesoare din seria v4 Intel E5-4600 și 2400 MT / DIMM-uri de memorie, incepand cu 21 iunie 2016.

Dell PowerEdge FC830 este un nod de procesare cu lărgime completă şi patru socket-uri pentru arhitectura Dell PowerEdge FX, care ajută organizaţiile să-şi configureze rapid fluxuri complete de lucru prin folosirea de blocuri constructive de resurse IT. Această platformă convergentă oferă de două ori mai multă densitate a socket-urilor decât oricare altă soluţie din industrie, ceea ce o face ideală pentru instalări Oracle RAC sau instalări dense de patru socket-uri.

Procesoarele Intel E5-4600v4 

• The new Intel E5-4600v4 processors will only be supported with the new v4 base options which includes the new BIOs.
• APOS Processor offerings need to be quoted with a Heat Sink SKU (one heatsink per processor)

New Intel CPUs have the v4 in the description comparing to previous v3 generation.

New 2400 MT/s Memory DIMMs in module 1560 and 1561

• To realize the full performance benefit of the new technology the new Intel E5-4600v4 processor have to be ordered with  new 2400 MT/s memory DIMMs 
• It is possible however to select the 2400MT/s memory DIMMs when selecting the Intel E5-4600v3 processors to allow for customers to test and validate the new memory technology in their environments.  Please qualify your customer and inform them of the potential performance impact if this processor/memory combination is selected.

The new 2400 MT/s memory DIMMs are offered in below capacities:

RDIMM –8GB, 16GB, 32GB
LRDIMM - 64GB
